The oddly named Burnt Horse in in the left foreground - probably a hause that was burned at some time. The slopes of Sale How (with Skiddaw House at the bottom) and Bakestall are on the left, the latter dropping by Birkett Edge to Black Nettle Hause. Continuing across the horizon are Great Cockup, Great Calva, Knott, High Pike, Carrock Fell and Bowscale Fell (beyond the gaping gash of Simen Gill). Smaller version of this picture.
